Atlanta, Georgia

Coming from a long line of experienced carpenters and woodcraftsmen, Atlanta native Chip Wade has building in his blood. His education in carpentry and renovation began at an early age as he worked and learned alongside his father on many family projects. This interest became a passion, as he grew proficient in both the design and execution of large-scale remodels.

Chip graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in mechanical engineering. He became certified in residential construction while working as a structural engineer in a homebuilding firm.

In the fall of 2007, Chip’s energy and talents won him the carpenter position on the Atlanta team of HGTV’s Designed to Sell. His creativity helps viewers rethink what can be accomplished with $2,000 and a three-day makeover.

Wade Works is Chip’s custom design-build firm offering distinctive, turnkey design, planning, and construction services to high-end commercial and residential markets. With services geared to corporate facilities, restaurants, hotels, retail, and religious facilities, Wade Works’ expertise in construction, engineering, and fabrication brings the visions of discriminating clients to life.
