Some terrific news

The much-coveted National Magazine Award,dubbed the “Ellie” award for obvious reasons. Alexander Calder designed it, and in real life, it’s a lovely, coppery color.

Hi everyone. We’ve just learned, this evening, that this very blog you’re reading has been nominated for a National Magazine Award! In the field of journalism, this is big stuff—not dining with the Queen of England, exactly, but you get the idea. Here’s a glimpse of our fellow nominees (aka the competition).The National Magazine Digital Media awards will be announced on March 16, at the Hilton New York. Please wish us luck! You know we’ll be taking you with us.
