If you had asked me to guess what the next iteration of food cart would be, I probably wouldn’t have said a moped with a custom tandoori oven serving Georgian & Chechnya street food, like locally raised lamb sandwiches with sour plum sauce, made by the former Meadwood (Napa) pastry chef, Boris Portnoy. But I would have been wrong. Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce Satellite Republic. Yes, it is in San Francisco. What can I say? All the cool kids live here.
