Not only has Marin French Cheese Company been around for 150 years (that’s almost forever in Western terms), but it’s also still winning serious national and international awards. So maybe you should help them celebrate.
This month sees the first of the anniversary year’s three public Cheese Factory parties (Jun 14). You’ll find sessions on beekeeping, organic farming, and, of course, cheesemaking, along with goods from local bakers, meaderies, picklers, and rival cheesemakers. (Now that’s confidence!) Can’t make this one? You’ve got two more chances, in August and October. Or pick up a wheel of Petite Breakfast cheese (far right in photo), introduced this year, at your local grocery. marinfrenchcheese.com.
