I just had the pleasure of spending a week in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and I report back with a very simple to-do list.

1. Eat at Joseph’s of Santa Fe.

The Taos chef recently opened this Santa Fe spot, and it’s off the chain. If the honey and cardamom dusted phyllo Napoleon is on the menu, just order it. Don’t ask questions. You can thank me later.

2. Go hiking at Tent Rocks National Monument.

It’s 40 miles southwest of Santa Fe and has otherworldly land formations. GO.

3. Roam around and take Instagram photos to make your friends jealous.

Coyote fences, hollyhocks, and awesome gates on adobe homes are all great candidates.
