Breakfast on the run? Skip the drive-thru egg sandwich, and load up on a new seasonally-inspired morning menu from California’s fast-casual chain, Lemonade.

For busy Californians seeking health-minded, delicious fare between meetings or carpool pick-ups, options can seem far and few. When it first opened in West Hollywood ten years ago, Lemonade was a welcome arrival to the lunch-in-a-crunch set, and has been growing like crazy ever since. Filling salads with farm-fresh ingredients (we love the Tuscan kale and butternut squash), poké bowls piled high with ahi tuna, decked-out sandwiches, plus easily grab-able dishes, like miso braised short rib and truffle mac’n’cheese, are as alluring as the cold-pressed drink that gave the spot its name.

Today, the 28-restaurant chain is adding a whole new element to their offerings, serving the most important meal of the day at four of their busiest locales along the West coast. At the San Diego’s Hillcrest, DTLA, and San Francisco’s Inner Sunset and Yerba Buena restaurants, Lemonade will now open its doors at 8am, serving a new morning menu until 11am. Go for a dragon fruit smoothie bowl, or perhaps a veggie-packed breakfast burrito. There will also be a selection of pastries and bagels, including a lemonade danish, plus a lineup of specialty coffee drinks, which will debut in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset.
