Seven years after launching Skillet Street Food, one of the city’s first food trucks (which was followed by five successive brick-and-mortar locations), founder Joshua Henderson is once again charting new waters. First came his homage to Seattle’s maritime history, Little Gull Grocery, docked on the northern shore of Lake Union. Little Gull serves as an oyster bar and ship’s store for high-end rations; boaters can tie up to the restaurants’ dock, polish off a dozen, then pick up ingredients—wine, cheese, Columbia City Bakery bread, wool navy blankets—for a killer floating picnic.
