At Metolius River Resort, evenings are all about drinks on the porch, family dinners inside, and quiet time for just listening to the sounds of the river.

Simple pleasures on the Metolius
Central Oregon's Metolius River offers easy summer days, mellow nights -- and a lot of trout
more
The clear, swift, free-flowing water of Central Oregon's Metolius River has made it a magnet to fly-fishermen who catch and release year-round.
But in summer, the river is also a wonderful place for non-anglers to enjoy the simple pleasures of easy days and mellow nights.
Based in the charming town of Camp Sherman, you can walk among the incense cedars and Douglas firs lining the river banks, sit on the porch at an old-fashioned riverfront resort cabin with a cool drink and a good book, and, at night, listen to the music of the river through open windows as they drift off.
