Cascade Lakes Brewing Company Lodge. Bend's new lodge bills itself as the official after-ski pub. With big TVs in the bars, pool tables upstairs, and a family-friendly restaurant downstairs, it's a busy place. $. 1441 S.W. Chandler Ave., Ste. 100; www.cascadelakes.com or 541/388-4998.

Deschutes Brewery. Settle in with a burger and some Mirror Pond Pale Ale at Bend's oldest brewpub ($; 1044 N.W. Bond St.; 541/382-9242), located downtown.
