These days, head to industrial zones like Evans Avenue in Bayview, which just happens to be where you’ll find The Tap Room at Speakeasy. True, the brewery looks more like a suburban office building, but inside, the perfect pub awaits: a reclaimed-wood bar with two alcoves for peace and quiet, and 12 Speakeasy beers on tap. A pint of Big Daddy IPA costs $4, but if you’re feeling bold, ask the bartender to design a flight of four 4-ounce tasters for $6.
