Named for a deep-sea shark native to Puget Sound, The Sixgill is a fun mix of maritime culture and local brews. The casual comfort food comes by way of the sea--think blackened-cod club sandwiches and Manila clams in a fennel broth--and the bar boasts 36 regional beers and ciders on tap. A sister bar to the wilderness-themed Noble Fir in Ballard, The Sixgill’s decor is ocean-inspired: Framed nautical charts hang on the wall and coastal guides line the bookshelves.
