The dessert chefs at Spuntino, an Italian cafe in the Highlands neighborhood, have been upping the ante on frozen treats. Thanks to a fancy machine from Brazil (it whips out 88 popsicles in 18 minutes), they’re getting wild with their all-natural homemade flavors—like saffron lemon, celery lime, or red bell pepper with balsamic vinegar. Purists can stick with standbys like coconut, strawberry-rose, mojito, and honey lavender.
