The Montage Deer Valley is a grand ski-in/ski-out Craftsman-style lodge with grand luxe style. If you have no intention of leaving the hotel, you can curl up on the fire-warmed terrace with its sweeping Wasatch Front views and s’mores with homemade marshmallows. There’s a heated outdoor pool; otherwise the spa, whirlpools, and indoor lap pool with piped-in music will do just fine. Anyone’s welcome in the hotel’s Vista Lounge & Terrace, with logs crackling in limestone fireplaces, cushy couches, and a panorama across the Uinta Mountains. On sunny days, you can dine or have a pint of the Montage Mountain Ale on the expansive terrace.
