The Luxx Plaza Hotel, a boutique hideout, brings a surprisingly cosmopolitan touch to downtown. Animal-print rugs, glittery shams, and high-tech touches like Google TV make the 16 rooms and suites feel more Hollywood than high desert. The one drawback to this prime location? On the ground floor, the rooms can seem a bit dark.
