Co-owner David Reiss and designer Sean Knibb made an old IHOP look chic when they opened A-Frame in Culver City. Now they’ve converted a former Hollywood recording studio into an elegant space with inspired food. Fraiche alumnus Jason Travi has designed a seafood-heavy small-plates menu that includes crispy oyster sliders, lobster rolls, and local squid. Though wine and beer are available, you’ll likely want to try one of the 11 specialty cocktails or pick your favorite spirits from the three-page list.
