A giant cast­ bronze sculpture of a beet sits on a boardwalk in the tiny, secluded Hidden Hollow Natural Area, bordering Parley’s Creek. Why a beet? Why not? It's no more incongruous than finding a hidden waterside park in the middle of the Sugar House commercial district.
