The deafening chorus of accolades Gather has attracted keeps the restaurant packed from opening to last call. The big deal? Surprise, mostly. Something as dodgy-sounding as “vegan charcuterie” turns out to be a gorgeous platter of tasty little revelations like tofu skin “sausage” and watermelon “steak.” Another surprise: They serve bacon and burgers too.
