This 1-square-mile isle in the middle of Jackson Lake with stunning views of Mt. Moran is Wyoming’s largest. May to September, you can reach the island on a scenic breakfast or dinner cruise or on your own if you’re willing to paddle a kayak. To snag one of the two island campsites, you need a permit, which you can pick up at a Grand Teton visitor center the day before or the day of your outing.
