This isn’t your standard aquarium (it has tigers!), as it feels more like you’re in an interactive Disney movie than a museum. The Mystic Mermaids show—a choreographed underwater routine set to music—is one of the most popular attractions. Other unique exhibitions include North America, showcasing the continent’s freshwater marine life; a weather room, where you experience a flash flood, lightning and more; a stingray petting pool; and yes, even tigers that perform tricks in the water. The aquarium also offers a number of family programs, such as scuba diving and snorkeling adventures, the opportunity to be a zoologist or marine biologist for a day, and Wild Dreams Overnight, where guests can camp beneath the sharks and rays.
