Think of a walk in Del Aire Park as the first peek at your personal urban orchard. The artists’ collective Fallen Fruit recently planted grapevines, herbs, and 27 fruit trees from peach to plum—all meant to be plucked by visitors. The trees aren’t much to look at now, but in a few years when the orchard is mature, the state’s first public fruit park will make for the best kind of alfresco snack.
