Batch 206 Distillery

Attractions

Seattle,  Washington
$$
Located in a nondescript warehouse, the bottle shop is like a mashup of upcycling (the counter is made from pipes salvaged from the building’s renovation) and whiskey’s Appalachian roots (check out the portraits of legendary moonshiner Popcorn Sutton). You can take a free tour of the distillery and get the story behind distiller Rusty Figgins’s citrusy Counter Gin or, if you’re lucky, the tale of Sutton, who was an inspiration for Batch 206. Figgins has new proofs in the works, including a vodka made with Eastern Washington grapes.
