Batch 206 Distillery

Seattle, Washington

Located in a nondescript warehouse, the bottle shop is like a mashup of upcycling (the counter is made from pipes salvaged from the building’s renovation) and whiskey’s Appalachian roots (check out the portraits of legendary moonshiner Popcorn Sutton). You can take a free tour of the distillery and get the story behind the tale of Sutton, who was an inspiration for Batch 206. There are new proofs in the works, including a vodka made with Eastern Washington grapes.
