Small-space gardeners, meet a fabulous source of inspiration: Alegría Fresh, a hydroponic vertical farm that produces more than 900 pounds of leafy greens and veggies each month in a space the size of an average suburban backyard. The farm’s secret weapon? Seven-foot planters that take up only 18 square inches of floor space each but can hold up to 60 plants. One-hour tours are a great way to see them at work. Afterward, check out the planters for sale or grab a bouquet of whatever has just been picked.
