The pink hotel at the power crossroads of Sunset Blvd. and Rodeo Dr. is old Hollywood at its finest. The iconic design and genuinely warm staff ("everyone greets you by name") make it feel "like Eloise would live there." And despite shiny newcomers, it still "pretty much defines Beverly Hills" and the glitz that can make a weekend escape: pool cabanas for rent, gorgeous palm trees, free car service, and a movers-and-shakers scene that's seen everyone from Liz and Dick on down.
