Santa Fe World's Fair
More than 110 artists were scheduled to exhibit their work at the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market.
World’s fair in Santa Fe
Visit 41 countries and never leave New Mexico

Wander the globe in a weekend, strolling the stalls of an exotic bazaar and soaking up the colorful sights, smells, and textures from the likes of India, Afghanistan, and Brazil.

What started at a single Santa Fe boutique has turned into the fourth annual Santa Fe International Folk Art Market, the largest of its kind in the country.

More than 110 artists from 41 countries have been selected by jury to exhibit and market their work—from pottery to jewelry and sculpture. (This year, look for gorgeous embroidered textiles from Kandahar; hand-carved gourds and ceramic retablos from Peru; shawls, scroll paintings, and block-print images from India; and brightly hued baskets woven from telephone wire by BATShop artists from KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.)

Proceeds from each sale go directly to the artists as well as their home communities.
