The Monterey Bay Idea House is a warmly contemporary project that
will present a multitude of architectural, landscape and decorating ideas.
Most importantly, these ideas have been formulated to create a comfortable,
functional home that responsibly incorporates many eco-friendly features in
response to the need for energy efficiency, function and sustainability.
This unique home in Monterra Ranch recalls familiar Central Coast
architectural themes. Comprised of 3 connected "farm buildings" the home is
reminiscent of Monterey County structures that are so much a part of the
local economy and history. Courtyards enclosed with native stone provide a
variety of outdoor spaces that will accommodate informal gatherings, large
events and the solitary Sunday afternoon snooze in the shade of a glorious
native oak.
Open in August 2008. Stay tuned for more information about how you can see
this innovative home.
