Each spring, Sunset brings the pages of the magazine to life during Celebration Weekend, a two-day event hosted at our headquarters in Northern California. At our 9th annual Celebration in May 2006, Sunset will unveil its first-ever Celebration Idea House built on-site in our own backyard!

The Celebration Idea House will showcase design innovations for casually elegant indoor-outdoor living. The 2,500-square-foot modern home will be built with Structural Insulating Panels (SIPs), solid, pre-cut units that are assembled on-site and are three times better insulated than wood framing, plus quicker to construct, more durable, and more resistant to earthquake, fire and insect damage.
