Whoever said holiday table decorations have to be shimmering and glittering, replete with tons of flowers, ribbons, crystal, and seasonal greens? These three simple ideas have previously been featured in one of our Thanksgiving stories.
NATURE'S DECORATIONS
Hazelnuts and almonds in wood containers make simple additions to a Thanksgiving table. Leave nuts in their shells for a harvest feel.
WARM ELEGANCE
Place a piece of soaked florist's foam (cut to size) in a small to medium-size wood bowl. Cut one to two dozen rose stems to 1 to 2 inches long and insert (tightly packed) into foam to create a low mound. Do not leave arrangement in bowl overnight.
BRING IN COLOR
Orange or yellow candles in casual glass votives add warm atmosphere to your table.
