Pamper Mom this Mother's Day with breakfast served on a tray that she can enjoy long after the coffee and croissants are gone.
All it takes is a quick trip to the copy shop to enlarge a favorite photo, a tray to put it on, and a clear plastic overlay – in this case, a place mat – for protection. We painted our tray to match the photograph.
Time: About 1 hour, plus drying time

2. Position the enlarged image on the tray and secure with a dab of glue if necessary. |

| 3. Measure the interior of the tray; the clear place mat should fit snugly inside. Cut the mat and position firmly in place.
