33. Saratoga Gap Trail and Ridge Trail.
Saratoga Gap Trail leads to an overlook above 80-foot-tall Castle Rock Falls, then heads west past sandstone formations and views of Monterey Bay. Loop back via Ridge Trail, passing the rock climbers' playground at Goat Rock.

34. Indian Rock.
Watch rock climbers strut their stuff on Indian Rock, a sandstone formation with wide views of the South Bay.

DIFFICULTY: Easy.
35. Skyline Trail and Sanborn Trail
Follow Skyline Trail 1 3/4 miles to Sanborn Trail; bear right and hike 1/4 mile to Todd Creek for a picnic among the redwoods.
WHERE: Sanborn County Park; park on west side State 35, 4 1/2 miles south of State 9. Walk across State 35 to trailhead.
DISTANCE: 4 1/4 miles.
