DIRECT-MAIL BOOKSQ) How can I sign up for your Recipe Annuals, Garden Annuals, the Quick, Light & Healthy Cookbook, or another book from your direct mail program? Or, how can I discontinue receiving these books?A) You can call our direct mail service. When ordering a book, be sure to specify whether you want only a particular title or want to be in the program. If you join the program, you’ll receive notices regarding one to two new books each year. If you are not interested in receiving the books, you will need to send back the announcement postcard.

Call that number if you would like a materials list, other plans, or other house plan questions answered.
PERMISSION TO COPYQ) How can I get permission to copy some text, photos, or illustrations from my Sunset Book?A) For anything beyond a page or two for your personal use, we will first need your request in writing. Mail it to Sunset Books, 80 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025 or fax it to (650) 324-5771. We will consider such requests if the copies are not done for profit and Sunset is given proper credit. We are unable at this time to let anyone copy our work onto the Internet.

Lost recipes: if you lost a recipe from a old Sunset cookbook, we can often provide a copy of the recipe if you give us a detailed description.
Plant sources: If a recent book mentions a plant, we can usually direct you to a source.
Design contacts: If we credit a designer, architect, or landscape architect in one of our books, we can probably give you some contact information. Be warned...the older the book, the older the contact information!
Binding problems: Book Reader Service can handle problems such as missing pages or broken binding.
