Will and Cara Meyers, Garden designers, DIG Gardens and Hidden Gardens Nursery  

Cara and Will Meyers are the garden designers and horticulturists responsible for this year’s installment of the Sunset Ultimate Backyard Living Room. Together, they own two garden stores in Santa Cruz County: DIG Gardens and Hidden Gardens Nursery. They also do interior and exterior residential garden design and installation.

In their designs, the Meyers love to mix natural and contemporary styles, and they rely mostly on succulents and other drought-tolerant plants. They try to use as many reclaimed and repurposed materials as possible.

The Meyers are passionate about sharing their garden and design knowledge with the community; they offer weekly classes and DIY workshops at their nursery.
