  • Lavandula angustifolia, L. x intermedia (hardy to zone 4). Purple, pink, white.
  • Salvia dorrii (desert sage). Blue.

  • Caryopteris x clandonensis (blue mist). Blue.

  • Nassella species (needle grass). N. tenuissima is one of the hardiest, into Sunset zone 2B.
