As a third generation employee with Benjamin Moore & Co, Mary Hoffman has experienced paint from a diverse perspective. Having a vast knowledge of the manufacturing process and the selling channel of Benjamin Moore & Co allows her to have a thorough understanding of the products of the past, present, and future. In her 30 years at Benjamin Moore most of her focus has been on her passion of color. Mary was one of the first to develop Faux Finish workshops in the 80s for consumers. Mary spent nearly 20 years working with the Architectural and Design Professionals in the Chicago area as an Architectural Representative. In 2005 Mary became a Color and Design Specialist. With Mary’s background in the performing arts she is an enthusiastic presenter who engages all of her audiences. Mary has a passion to share the Benjamin Moore story. Believing in the need to enhance the future, she has reached out to future designers as a frequent lecturer at universities, art colleges, interior-design schools, and technical institutes. Mary has been a speaker for many organizations like ASID, IFDA, and NFCA. Mary had delivered the Benjamin Moore & Co color forecast to private audiences at Chrysler and Hallmark Cards Incorporate.   As a member of Benjamin Moore’s Color Design Team she researches and tracks color trends both in the United States and internationally. She is also an active member of CMG, Color Marketing Group and an industry member of ASID and IIDA. As the designer’s eye and the Designer’s Designer Mary is a key presenter of Benjamin Moore’s color forecast Color Pulse™ and delivers the color message to design professionals across the country.
