The NEW Sunset Design Awards

April 23, 2012 | As you may have heard, we’re welcoming a new editor-in-chief to Sunset. It seems like the right idea to have our new leader weigh in on the relaunch of our Sunset Design Awards (which will replace the Western Home Awards and the Dream Garden Awards) so we’re going to postpone the awards for a year. We’ll repost the rules and categories later this year, so as to give designers and homeowners plenty of time to document their projects properly; we will also, of course, be contacting all those who’ve entered so far to arrange either the return of their entries or storage of their materials until next year. The Design Awards are an important extension of Sunset, which has covered residential design for decades, and we at the magazine are committed to continuing that tradition.
