The position requires cold calling by phone and in person, calling on businesses in the local area.
The ideal candidate is someone who’s eager to take on a challenge and is able to invest the time and energy needed to prospect, educate and meet with potential advertisers in person.
Candidate should be based in the San Francisco area and has experience with local media sales.
The publication will appear four times a year.
- Able to work remotely from your home office
- A strong background in print, online or radio sales
- Ability to generate new prospects, cold call, strong closing skills
- Ability to maintain and upsell existing business
- Energetic, articulate, self-starters with strong presentation skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and have outstanding communication skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email software
