In the Amphitheater

The wall colors encircling the garden's amphitheater also were inspired by the site. Architect John Douglas walked the wash, selected stones in various colors, then had a paint store scan them to duplicate the shades. Landscape architect Steve Martino used rugged rebar and concrete in the firepit.
