Support local farmers and bring more field-fresh vegetables and fruits to your family's table by joining a Community Supported Agriculture program. It's easier than ever, now that a website can connect you to CSA programs in your area. In exchange for a subscription fee (typically $20 per week), which goes to the farmer, CSA programs supply members with baskets of the best seasonal produce, delivered direct. To learn more about CSAs and find a program near you, contact the Alternative Farming Systems Information Center www.nal.usda.gov/afsic/csa.
