Just like Mom's
Bertha Nyseth is the second mom to have produced pies for Mom's Pies, 45 miles east of Eugene on State 126. The quirky restaurant has specialized in pies since World War II. Of the battalion that Nyseth turns out daily now, berries get the most requests: berry medley (a trio of blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry), red and blue (raspberry-blueberry), black and blue (blackberry-blueberry), apple-raspberry, raspberry-rhubarb, strawberry-rhubarb, raspberry-cherry – you get the picture.
